The Diamant Bleu is Heidsieck's top cuvee and is made from 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay. This Champagne is drinking beautifully right now, with superb richness, vibrancy and complexity enhanced by that extra dimension that long age in the bottle provides. Richard Juhlin writes: "Many have been skeptical about the famous diamond after the change in ownership. Therefore it was with great happiness that I could conlcude that the '89 was very pleasing to my palate. The scent is sumptuous, filled of honey and hazelnut.
