You must be at least 21 years of age to order and/or receive alcoholic beverages.
Your order will be sent to us in the form of a request. Nothing is processed until quantities are confirmed.
Once you submit your order (by phone, fax, or e-mail), quantity and availability will be determined and the order will be billed
and either held for future delivery or shipped by your preferred method.
For all in stock items you wish shipped or picked-up, please allow 72 hours for us to gather your wines.
Even though our website updates quantities every 15 minutes (during business hours), hard-to-find and highly-sought-after
wines can come and go quickly. Once we have received your initial request/order, we will try to finalize your order on a first come first serve basis.
Premier Cru can only ship to states where it is legal to ship alcoholic beverages. If a customer lives in a state in which it is not legal
to ship alcoholic beverages, the customer would need to provide an alternative shipping address, which could be in a legal state,
or the address of a "third party" storage facility.
For information on which states we can or cannot ship to, please see our Shipping Information or
contact us at info@premiercru.net or by calling 510-655-6691.
Shipping Rates:
When you view your shopping cart and fill out the order request form, you will notice that the shipping field will remain blank.
The actual shipping charges can only be accurately calculated when the quantity of bottles, method of shipping and insurance are
factored in. For this reason, we can only approximate shipping charges based on the formula that one case will cost from
$20-$35 to ship ground, $45-65 to ship 2nd day air and $75-$95 to ship overnight, depending on which state you are located in.
There will also be an additional charge for your styrofoam shipper. Shipping is based on weight, so the rate for 6 bottles,
for instance, is significantly less than the rate for a case.

Weather:
It is very important to consider the temperatures when shipping wine. We do not advise shipping wines during the warmer months.
If for some reason you really want to take delivery in the middle of the summer we recommend overnight shipping. This is the safest
way to guarantee the least exposure to warm temperatures. But there is always some risk involved and we cannot take responsibility for
heat damage over the summer months. Please consider holding your wines till the weather is more appropriate for transit. Please specify
HOLD as your method of shipping, and contact us either by email or phone to prompt for shipment.
Also, whenever shipping via ground service there is always risk with weather and time. Any ground shipments to the East coast
or mid-East will take 5+ days to arrive. If your wines are shipped on a Monday they will probably arrive the following Monday.
Please consider this when choosing ground as your method of shipment. If you ship on a Wednesday or Thursday the wines will
most likely travel over the weekend and arrive by the middle-end of the following week.
We will not be responsible for any wines damaged by weather once they have left our warehouse.
It is up to you, the customer, to make the appropriate shipping arrangements.
Storage:
We urge you to take delivery of your wines as soon as possible, as we have limited warehouse space. Recognizing that temperature
and other factors may come into play, you may delay receipt of your wines for up to six months from the date of your notification.
After six months, it will be necessary to assess a charge of 1.5% of the value of your wine each month to cover the cost of insurance,
overhead and maintenance.
